Veterans Preference: When applying for Federal Jobs, eligible Veterans should claim preference on their applicant or resume. VEV who do not have a service-connected disability will receive 5% of the total possible points. Eligible employees are responsible for making sure their military service and disability status is correctly documented in their Electronic Official Personnel Folder (e-OPF)
