SPECIAL NOTE: In accordance with DVB Circular 20-83-12, if a panel is required, Vietnam Era Veterans (VEV) and special disabled veterans will receive preference as follows: 10% of the maximum points possible will be added to the rating of qualified veterans with at least a 30% service-connected disability and VEV with a service connected disability of 10% or more. VEV who do not have a service-connected disability will receive 5% of the total possible points. Eligible employees are responsible for making sure their military service and disability status is correctly documented in their Electronic Official Personnel Folder (e-OPF)
