***Nampa Parks and Recreation Statement on Air Quality for Nampa Festival of the Arts***

Nampa Parks and Recreation is closely monitoring the air quality in the City of Nampa caused by smoke from surrounding wildfires. Despite current conditions, we plan to proceed with the Nampa Festival of the Arts this weekend (August 10 & 11). While contemplating on whether to attend the event, vendors and patrons are encouraged to consider their individual comfort level and health as it relates to the air quality.

Today the Parks and Recreation Department offers this event for approximately 200 artisans that draw in more than 18,000 community members to enjoy this weekend event. With the great variety of art, you are sure to find a treasure, whether it is jewelry, painting, sculpture, whimsical yard art, or something else. Live entertainment, food concessions, and free activities for children, including a kid’s art booth, will keep the whole family entertained.

Event Details

Admission and parking are free, so join us in Lakeview Park on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9am to 6pm and Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 10am to 3pm. For the safety and consideration of all visitors, please leave your dogs at home. Assistive animals only.

All items presented for sale at the Nampa Festival of the Arts must be originally created items, handmade from raw and original materials by the artisan. No resale items allowed. Items must also fit into one of the following categories:

• Books
• Country Crafts
• Entertainment
• Fine Arts
• Jewelry
• Old World Art

Juried Fine Art Show

Fine artists can enter two or three dimensional pieces to be judged. Pieces will be displayed in each artisan’s booth. Cash awards will be given for:

• Champion
• Gold
• Silver
• Bronze
• Honorable Mention
• People’s Choice

The Idaho legislature passed House Bill No. 124, requiring sponsoring agents (City of Nampa) to obtain evidence of compliance with the Idaho Sales Tax Act. All vendors will need to complete paperwork with the Tax Commission. Please make sure this is done before attending the event.
